The Raptor Silver Aluminum, Satin 440C is a technically advanced offering from the renowned Czech brand, which has specialized in the production of tactical and utility knives for decades. 440C – a martensitic alloy stainless steel with a high content of 1.10% carbon (C) and a high content of 16.0% chromium (Cr) and impressive corrosion resistance. It is characterized by a hardness in the range 57-59 HRC. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing excellent wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for the manufacture of cutting tools knife blades and scissors, as well as medical tools.
Blade – dagger type, made of hardened 440C steel, is characterized by high wear resistance, easy sharpening and resistance to weathering. Thanks to the applied flat grind, it provides clean, precise cuts, while maintaining the durability of the working edge even with intensive use. The satin finish gives the blade a subdued elegance and eliminates glare, which is important when working in tactical conditions. The double-action OTF mechanism works dynamically and stably – the blade extends and retracts with a single slide movement, which increases the speed of reaction and safety during operation.
Handle – made of precision-milled aluminum, provides lightness and high mechanical resistance. Milled side surfaces increase grip and improve control of the knife even when wearing gloves. The matte texture prevents hand slippage, and the body geometry supports an ergonomic, stable grip. The back of the Handle features a functional deep-carry clip, which allows for safe and discreet pocket carry. Torx screws allow disassembly for cleaning or servicing the mechanism.
