Slybolt Dark Green Canvas Micarta, Black is a versatile EDC knife designed by Sencut for users who prefer compact but fully functional designs. It features a slim silhouette, a distinct blade profile and a balanced balance between convenience and durability. The form of the Blade’s clip point blade gives the knife a slightly curved character, which is perfect for precision tasks – such as cutting soft materials, outdoor kitchen work or everyday utility tasks. The 9Cr18MoV stainless steel used provides good corrosion resistance, while the black coating emphasizes the technical, utilitarian style of the tool. A convenient opening mechanism based on a double-sided thumb study allows the blade to be efficiently unfolded regardless of the dominant hand, while the crossbar lock enhances safety and control while working. The design has been optimized for lightness, and the ergonomic Micarta milled handle offers high comfort even during prolonged use. The whole design is complemented by a tip-up deep carry clip and a solid back milling (jimping) for the thumb.

9Cr18MoV – high-grade stainless knife steel. A high content of 18.0% chromium (Cr) and an average of 0.95% carbon (C) provide high hardness and corrosion resistance, while the addition of alloying elements 1.3% molybdenum (Mo), 0.8% silicon (Si), 0.12% vanadium (V) increase strength and wear resistance. 9Cr18MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC. Used in the manufacture of knives, including damascus and surgical blades, swords, scissors, cutlery.
Crossbar Lock – a crossbar that moves horizontally in longitudinal cutouts in the steel side plates of the handle frame. When the knife is opened, the locking bar overlaps the back of the blade from above, preventing its return movement. This beam is pressed down by two springs. Unlocking is done by pulling back the locking bar, the ends of which are accessible through cutouts in the grips on the sides of the Handle grips. In the closed position, the bar presses against the cam surface at the back of the Blade, preventing it from opening on its own. Advantages of the Crossbar Lock include resistance to contamination, practical insensitivity to dynamic loads, ease of operation with both right and left hands, and lightweight operation.
Blade – clip point with a clearly marked belly offers excellent control when cutting and working with materials of varying density. The blade is made of 9Cr18MoV stainless steel, known for its ease of sharpening and decent wear resistance in everyday use. The flat grind improves cutting efficiency, while the black coating gives the blade a technical look. Thumb study on both sides and back milling(jimping) allow for comfortable opening and stable handling of the knife.
Handle grips -Canvas Micarta composite grips with a fine, non-slip texture and milling, ergonomically improve grip and control. The molded finger choil makes it easier to handle the blade with precision, and the full profile of the Handle naturally guides the hand to a firm grip. The crossbar lock mechanism operates smoothly in both directions, ensuring safety and intuitive operation. The design is complemented by a tip-up deep-carry clip, which allows the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket or by the sheath.
