Kyklos Black/Gray Titanium, Black Stonewashed/Satin is an advanced EDC folder combining perfect craftsmanship, modern design and functionality necessary for everyday use. The design, based on a minimalist, compact construction, offers the user the highest quality of workmanship, ergonomics and full operational reliability in all conditions of daily carry. Blade with clip point profile , made of Böhler M390 powder steel , provides exceptional sharpness retention, high abrasion resistance and excellent edge stability in long-term use. The Two Tone, black stonewashed / satin finish gives the wedge a modern, technical look and effectively masks minor signs of use. The Handle is entirely made of milled titanium 6Al-4V, delicate finger indentations and subtly rounded edges guarantee a stable grip and high comfort even during prolonged use. The opening system based on the flipper, supported by ceramic ball bearings, allows smooth and fast unfolding of the blade, while the frame lock mechanism ensures stable locking in the working position. The whole is complemented by a titanium Tip-Up clip . M390 – martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), hardened between 59-61 HRC,vacuum and cryogenic treatment and double tempering. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter’s CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade – developed in a clip point profile with a distinctive harpoon swedge, increasing penetration capabilities and blade control in precision cuts and more intensive utility tasks. The selected Böhler M390 powder steel provides outstanding wear resistance, edge stability and full corrosion resistance – parameters that make this material one of the best in the premium knife class. The hardness of the blade in the 58-60 HRC range ensures long-lasting sharpness and resistance to micro-damage, even with demanding daily use. The applied striking Two Tone, Black Stonewashed / Satin finish further masks wear scratches and emphasizes the modern character of the wedge.
