Krait Snake Black Titanium, Polished Grayis the result of a collaboration between renowned brand WeKnife and French designer Tashi Bharucha, known for his distinctive, dynamic lines and love of functional form. It was created for knife enthusiasts who expect maximum quality workmanship, tactical design and technical perfection in every detail. Blade is made of Böhler M390 steel, valued for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance and high working hardness. Its Recurve Tip Harpoon profile with a clearly defined tip, combined with a full flat grind, provides excellent cutting geometry and precision performance. The Polished Grayfinish gives the wedge a subtle matte character and further masks any signs of use. Responsible for the smoothness of the operation are ceramic bearings, allowing the blade to be opened instantly with a flipper. Handle was created from titanium, the surface of which is contoured to enhance ergonomics and grip control. The Nested Liner Lock ensures stability and safe operation. Complementing the whole is a deep carry clip, allowing you to discreetly carry the knife on a daily basis. M390 – a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), hardened between 59-61 HRC,vacuum and cryogenic treatment and double tempering. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter’s CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade – with Recurve Tip Harpoon profile is distinguished by a strong tip and a cutting line that facilitates precise handling. The base material is M390 powder steel, resistant to abrasion and guaranteeing long-lasting sharpness. The full flat grind allows for efficient cutting of a variety of materials. The Polished Graycoating not only enhances the aesthetics, but is primarily a premium visual effect. Opening is done with a flipper, and ceramic bearings are responsible for smooth operation.
Handle – is made of anodized titanium, which provides structural rigidity and low weight. The contoured geometry of the grip and precise milling improve control, including in dynamic conditions. Decorative and functional flame-dyed titanium inserts run along the back line, adding individual style to the knife. The Nested Liner Lock used secures the blade in the open position without wearing down the working surfaces. The deep carry clip allows for discreet carrying.
