Spear Zebra Wood, Satin is a proposal designed for users looking for a minimalist, yet functional folder for everyday tasks. The compact design is based on a bearing-based opening system with flipper and liner lock, which translates into high operating culture and reliability. The whole is distinguished by modern aesthetics, broken by a detail in the form of a pivot ring of contrasting color, which adds dynamics to the whole composition. Blade made of D2 tool steel offers great edge retention with reasonable ease of sharpening. The straight back profile and full flat grind promote precise cuts and provide good penetration. The satin finish gives the blade an elegant look and makes it easy to keep clean. Handle made of natural Zebrano wood, set on steel liners, combines lightness with resistance to mechanical damage and moisture. Texturing improves the grip, and ergonomic profiling, milling on the back (jimping) and a deep carry clip make this model a tool fully adapted to the modern lifestyle.
D2 – a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade – made of D2 tool steel with a straight back profile offers a combination of a sharp tip and symmetrical geometry, enabling precise cuts in everyday tasks. The flat grind improves cutting efficiency, while the satin surface reduces friction and gives the blade an elegant look. The flipper, combined with ball bearings, allows the blade to unfold smoothly and quickly. Jimping on the back increases control during precision work.
Handle – the rigidity of the structure is provided by steel liners, on which are embedded grips made of natural Zebrano wood – a material resistant to impact, water and extreme temperatures. The textured surface improves grip, and a subtle undercut for the index finger enhances ergonomics. A distinctive detail is the contrasting pivot ring, adding visual lightness. A cord hole and deep carry clip allow the knife to be conveniently and discreetly carried in a pocket.
