RT-Saker Falcon Gray Titanium/Carbon Fiber, Manual Fine Grinding Satin is a manifesto of a contemporary approach to EDC knives, where engineering aesthetics go hand in hand with maximum functionality. The design is based on proven materials such as S45VN steel and titanium, and its finish and details meet high-end standards . It’s a tool designed for those who expect technical finesse and functional reliability in one cohesive design. Blade is made of highly regarded CPM S45VN steel, known for its excellent sharpness retention, wear resistance and operational stability even under heavy use. The applied satin finish, achieved by manual fine grinding (manual fine grinding), exposes the subtle texture of the steel and emphasizes the precision of the workmanship . The shape of the blade ensures versatility – from precision tasks to cuts requiring greater force. Handle, based on a rigid titanium construction, is complemented by inlays of two-tone carbon fiber, which not only add lightness to the design, but also reinforce its modern, technical character. CPM S45VN – American martensitic high-alloy stainless steel with a hardness of 59-61 HRC, one of the best blade steels. Designed to provide better strength compared to CPM S30V, while keeping corrosion resistance at the highest level. Produced by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible® Particle Metallurgy(CPM) method. The CPM process creates a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. The chemical composition has been balanced so that it is composed of 0.5% niobium carbides (Nb) along with 3.0% vanadium (V) and 14.0%chromium (Cr) carbides. The improved strength of CPM S45VN also provides better resistance to edge chipping.
Blade – CPM S45VN steel is distinguished by its abrasion resistance, excellent sharpness retention and stable performance even with prolonged use. The surface of the blade was finished by manual fine grinding satin method , which not only exposes the structure of the material, but also gives the whole an elegant, technical look. The blade profile is conducive to precise handling, while allowing confident and deep cuts for tasks that require force. A refined compoundgrind and geometrically optimized cutting edge increase tool efficiency and cutting control. The push-button-release Frame Lock allows us to open the knife by gravity. In addition, two classic opening methods, flipper and thumb hole.
Handle – titanium body is reinforced with elegant carbon fiber two-tone inlays , which affect both the visual balance of the design, as well as the ergonomics of the grip. The milling used improves traction and increases the knife’s handling comfort, while the beveled edges make it easier to maneuver the tool at different grip angles. The button frame lock works smoothly, with a noticeable ratcheting point, ensuring safety and speed of operation. Complementing the design is a deep carry clip, which allows for low-profile, discreet carrying of the folder.
