RT-Meteor RTPT-BD Black DLC Titanium/Gray Carbon Fiber, Black DLC is an advanced design by Remette, with a focus on maximum utility and design consistency. The profile of the blade used has been optimized for precision and cutting power, and a properly selected grind facilitates penetration and control of the cutting line. Handle milled from titanium, is a guarantee of structural rigidity and high mechanical resistance. M390 – a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter’s CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) durability of the blade surface is enhanced with a matte black nanocomposite coating that exhibits unique properties such as exceptional hardness and low friction, as well as excellent corrosion protection. It is one of the most resistant coatings to scratches and abrasion that are used in industry, including the knife industry.

Blade with universal drop point profile allows you to effectively perform both precise tasks, as well as dynamic cuts requiring force.
