Predator Evolution Black FRN, Black Idroglider is an automatic tactical folder designed for users operating in dynamic and demanding conditions. Fox Knives brand , known for creating tools for the uniformed services, has combined the robustness of construction with functionality and speed of operation. Blade made of Niolox steel, coated with Black Idroglider coating, provides high resistance to abrasion, corrosion and mechanical damage, while eliminating light reflections. Thanks to the automatic spring mechanism, the blade opens instantly, allowing instant one-handed response, even with gloves. Handle made of FRN with frag-style texture provides a stable grip, and the ergonomics of the design promote comfort for a long time. The model is equipped with a safety system LAWKS, working in conjunction with a liner lock, which further increases the safety of use. Niolox – tool steel with good edge hold and high strength. Hardened in the range 58-60 HRC. It is characterized by aggressive cutting and good impact strength. The name comes from the element niobium (Nb), one of the best carbides, which contributes to the steel’s wear resistance. Niolox contains 0.7% of it . Easy to sharpen with moderate corrosion resistance, it contains 12.7% chromium (Cr). Manufactured by German steelworks Lohmann.

The tanto profile guarantees high penetrating ability and increased tip strength, ideal for heavy-duty work. The Niolox steel used offers excellent wear resistance and long-lasting sharpness, even under heavy use. The flat grind improves blade control and cutting efficiency.Black Idroglider coating increases surface resistance to scratches, chemicals and weathering, while reducing glare. The automatic mechanism allows for quick one-handed opening, which is crucial in emergency situations. Additional security in the form of the LAWKS system, working in conjunction with the liner lock, ensures the stability of the blade under heavy pressure. Handle – made of FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) – a lightweight and damage-resistant plastic with excellent mechanical properties. The black color and frag-style texture not only give a modern, tactical look, but also increase the grip and control of the knife, even in wet hands or gloves. The ergonomic profiling supports a natural grip, minimizing fatigue with prolonged use. Internal steel liners reinforce the design without adding weight. Double-sided (right/left) tip-up clip, made of stainless steel with Idroglider coating – provides discreet and secure carry, for both right- and left-handed users.
