Brazen Button Lock Twill Carbon Fiber Overlay on Black G10, Damascus new version of the popular tanto blade folding knife from Civivi. Damascus – Damascus stainless steel blade with a unique pattern. Finished with etching in acid to emphasize the contrast of patterns. The blade consisting of two different types of steel, forged and assembled together in different ways obtaining this amazing pattern. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.
Blade – tanto type , finished with acid etching highlighting damascus patterns. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the Blade length converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high, flat grind (Flat Grind), gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the blade’s opening mechanism. The flipper fin has been slimmed down so it doesn’t protrude much above the line of the handle. When opened, it forms a mini-guard preventing the hand from slipping on the blade. The knife can also be opened with a dual thumb stud in the wedge. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole thing is locked with a solid button lock. Under the lock button there is a resisting spring, which prevents accidental release of the lock.
Handle grips – grips made of G10 composite and a layer of Twill Carbon Fiber on top, which were screwed to steel liners. Contoured covers eliminate sharp edges for a comfortable and secure grip. An open-backed design fixed with steel spacer sleeves reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized Civivi brand logo . A two-position, right/leftdeep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).
Case – the knife is packed in a zippered nylon soft pouch with the brand’s logo for safe carrying and storage of the folder.
