Opis
Emperor Pro Series Black G10, Tumbled is a design by Greg Medford – a creator considered one of the most uncompromising manufacturers of tactical knives in the US. The Pro Series line reflects his philosophy – rugged, minimalist and functional tools, designed for operations in extreme conditions. The distinctive solid construction and handcrafted finish are the features that define this model as a highly specialized field tool. Blade is made of CPM 3V steel, renowned for its resistance to cracking and extreme side loads. The Tumbled finish surface enhances abrasion resistance and gives the blade a rugged, tactical look. The modified tanto 's geometry combines penetrating ability with cutting control, and the ridged (jimping) frets improve finger grip for precision work. Handle grips are equipped with flat G10 grips , bolted to afull tang), which increases the resistance of the entire construction. Ergonomic profiling improves control during intensive use, including with gloves. The back features a glass nailer and a cord hole, allowing you to personalize or secure the tool. A molded Kydex sheath with a clip compatible with MOLLE systems is included, allowing the knife to be carried securely and comfortably vertically or horizontally.

CPM 3V – a wear-resistant tool steel with high hardness. Manufactured by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible Particle Metallurgy(CPM) method. The CPM process creates a highly homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Designed to provide maximum fracture and chipping resistance in high wear resistance steels. It offers impact resistance greater than A2, D2, Cru-Wear or CPM M4 , approaching the levels provided by S7 and other impact-resistant grades. CPM 3V is hardened to 61-63 HRC for applications where chronic cracking and chipping is found in other tool steels, but where the abrasive properties of high-alloy steel are required.
Blade – a solid, modified tanto profile provides high damage resistance and excellent penetration. Made of CPM 3V steel, it offers exceptional resistance to fracture and transverse loads. The surface has been finished using the Tumbled method , which increases abrasion resistance and hides traces of use. Additional milling (jimping) on the back allows for a secure thumb rest and precise maneuvering of the blade. A central recess on the plane of the blade improves balance and functionality for dynamic cuts.
Handle grips -G10, screw-fastened, provide durability and stability of the design under heavy loads. Full-size shank (full tang) strengthens mechanical resistance and transmits force directly to the blade. The pronounced finger molding aids control, while the glass striker and cord/paracord hole increase the knife’s functionality in rescue or military applications. As a whole, it is a finely crafted unit for special tasks.
