The Orange Plastic/Paracord, Black 420 is a functional folding knife designed with the needs of active outdoor users in mind. The use of 420 stainless steel provides a balance of corrosion resistance, ease of sharpening and durability – qualities valued in tools for intensive use. 420 – rich in 0.15% carbon, containing min. 12% chromium, martensitic stainless steel, which offers high hardenability (in the range of 54-56 HRC) and strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds for wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools and knife blades.
Head – made of 420 stainless steel, known for its ease of sharpening and good corrosion resistance – properties valued in knives for field use. The drop point profile ensures precision in cutting and durability when working with harder materials. The blade’s black coating adds to its tactical aesthetics and protects the surface from mechanical damage and light reflections. The flat grind guarantees good material penetration and comfort during prolonged use. The hole and peg in the blade allows quick unfolding of the blade with one hand, which works well in situations where time and convenience of operation are important.
Handle – a combination of high-strength plastic with additional braided paracord cord, which makes it resistant to damage and extremely functional in the field. The color scheme – intense orange – was chosen deliberately to increase the visibility of the knife among leaves, grass or snow. The ergonomic profile and slightly textured surface provide a secure grip even with gloves or wet hands. The paracord braid is not just a stylistic element – if needed, it can be used as an emergency rope for tying, trolling or building a makeshift shelter.
