Venatus F Black G10, Satin is an expression of the highest quality of Italian knife craftsmanship, developed by the renowned brand from Prato – a supplier of tactical tools to the armies of Italy, France and many special units. The brand, known for its ISO 9001 certification and NATO code AD856, creates equipment that conforms to military standards, which today is also available to demanding civilian customers. The Venatus F model , whose name comes from the Latin word meaning “hunting,” was designed for professional hunters and outdoor enthusiasts who expect military-grade reliability and excellent functionality in all conditions. A key design element is the full tang construction, which increases rigidity and eliminates points of potential weakness. Blade was created from Austrian N690 stainless steel, known for its exceptional durability, wear and corrosion resistance. The satin finish gives the tool an elegant yet practical character. N690 – corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade -spear point profile with central cutting edge and sharp tip provides excellent penetration and control during detailed hunting tasks. N690 Böhler steel, with a martensitic structure with additions of molybdenum, vanadium and cobalt, offers high blade retention, fracture resistance and excellent stability for field work. A flat grind allows for smooth cutting action, and a false blade at the top of the blade increases tip handling precision. The applied jimping on the back of the Blade provides a comfortable thumb rest, improving control in precision maneuvers. The satin finish not only enhances the aesthetics, but also reduces the visibility of micro-scratches and facilitates maintenance after heavy use. The full tang construction makes the knife suitable for the most demanding field and survival tasks.
Handle – made of G10 laminate, a composite with high mechanical strength and resistance to extreme conditions. The tactile textured surface and finger molding provide a secure grip even in wet hands or when working with gloves. Extrema Ratio’s distinctive finger recess supports grip stability and serves as a visual identity element. The design team, in cooperation with the University of Perugia, took care of the ergonomic aspect, matching the shape of the grip to the physiology of the hand. The grips have been screwed directly to the bolt, making it easy to service or replace. The whole is complemented by a leather sheath of modular design, allowing quick attachment to the belt and convenient access to the tool.
