Opis

Balisong Red Micarta, Satin 3Cr13Mov (02071) from Martinez Albainox is an elegant variation on the classic butterfly knife, combining traditional design with refined details. Using a simple but proven balisong design, this knife is the perfect tool for training tricks, manipulation and learning rotary techniques. Thoughtful weight distribution and balance make this model suitable for both novice users and experienced enthusiasts. Blade is made of 3Cr13Mov stainless steel, finished with satin finish, which provides a subtle shine and protection against minor scratches. The classic clip point profile and additional fuller improve the handling characteristics and reduce the weight of the blade, which is especially important during dynamic movements. The whole thing locks on a latch lock, ensuring safety and convenience in transportation. Handle grips consist of stainless steel shoulders and red Micarta grips , which not only adds aesthetics, but also improves grip. The knife takes up little space when folded, making it a great EDC accessory with a collector’s touch.

Balisong / butterfly / batangas / taal / butterfly – among the various types of knives, one stands out for its particularly impressive handling. This is the balisong butterfly knife, also known as “butterfly” or “bali”. Its history can be traced back to the 18th century Philippines, where it served not only as a practical tool, but also as an effective weapon for self-defense. Although the exact origin of the balisong remains shrouded in mystery, it is traditionally associated with the village of Balisong on Batangas Island. Its name in Tagalog means “broken horn,” which accurately reflects the knife’s distinctive design. It consists of two handles that rotate around the Blade, resembling the movements of a butterfly’s wings. Balisongs instantly gained recognition among Filipino warriors, gaining status as the national weapon. Their efficient opening and closing required extraordinary dexterity, evolving into an art form known as “flipping.” In the twentieth century, butterfly knives reached the West, gaining popularity among soldiers, sailors and enthusiasts of spectacular tricks. Today, despite the fact that in many countries their possession is subject to legal restrictions, balisongs continue to fascinate with their extraordinary agility and rich tradition.

3Cr13MoV is a martensitic chromium steel that has been enriched with molybdenum (Mo) and vanadium (V) to improve its performance properties. The typical chemical composition includes about 0.26-0.35% carbon (C), 12.5-14.5% chromium (Cr), 0.4-0.6% molybdenum (Mo) and 0.1-0.2% vanadium (V). The addition of chromium provides corrosion resistance, while molybdenum increases hardenability, high-temperature strength and resistance to pitting corrosion. Vanadium contributes to the hardness, wear resistance and fine grain structure of the steel. 3Cr13MoV is used for knives (often found in folding knives and hunting knives), medical tools and other applications where a good combination of corrosion resistance, hardness and strength is required. It is an improved version of 3Cr13 steel, offering better sharpness retention and overall durability.

Blade -clip point profile offers precise cutting and blade control, proving itself in both utility and training applications. The 3Cr13Mov steel blade is corrosion resistant and easy to maintain. The satin finish reduces the visibility of use marks and enhances the elegant character of the blade. A fuller running the length of the blade reduces weight and improves balance – an essential element in handling knives.

Handle – based on classic butterfly design, with stainless steel shoulders and Micarta grips in red shade, provides high durability and comfortable grip. Proper balance facilitates the performance of flipping techniques. A latch lock at the end of the Handle allows you to secure the blade quickly and safely. Aesthetics, ergonomics and precision make this model an interesting choice for lovers of tactical and collectible knives.
