Tayra Tiger Stripe Titanium, Black Stonewashed/Satin is a modern reinterpretation of the classic karambit, developed for users who focus on full control, high material resistance and expressive form. The WeKnife brand , known for its precision machining and uncompromising component quality, delivers a tool designed to work in harsh conditions, yet refined in every visual detail. Blade is made from Böhler M390 powder steel, which offers exceptional sharpness retention and excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance. Its aggressive karambit profile allows for effective cuts in tight spaces and pulling motions. The black stonewashed/satin finish gives the blade a matte texture that masks scratches and enhances utility. A titanium handle with a milled surface and pronounced undercut lines provides ergonomics at the level of tactical designs. An integrated tactical ring allows reverse grip and precise maneuvering of the tool. A frame lock with a steel insert stabilizes the Blade in the open position, while a flipper guarantees quick access to the blade. The whole is complemented by a deep carry clip, which allows you to carry the folder discreetly and securely in your daily gear.
M390 – martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), hardened between 59-61 HRC,vacuum and cryogenic treatment and double tempering. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter’s CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade – Böhler M390 steel, used for the Blade, provides very high wear resistance, excellent sharpness retention and long blade life even under heavy use. The characteristic profile of the carambit with a strongly curved cutting line works well in pulling and defensive movements, allowing precise, controlled cuts. A flat grind, which improves handling characteristics and facilitates sharpening, is used. The Two Tone, black stonewashed/satin finish reduces the visibility of work marks and gives the blade a subdued, technical look. Opening the blade is done with a flipper or Wave-like system that allows you to remove the already open knife from your pocket. A solid frame lock with a steel insert is responsible for safety.
Handle – made of flame-dyed milled titanium with Tiger Stripe pattern , was designed for a stable, tactical grip – both in classic and reverse grips. A tactical ring located in the back improves control of the knife and allows quick changes in hand position. Deep undercuts and grooves provide a secure grip even when wearing gloves or in wet conditions. The overall design is complemented by a deep carry clip for discreet carrying, as well as a lanyard hole. The dark color scheme with metallic accents emphasizes the modern and offensive nature of the design.
