Elementum Slip Joint Blue Resin, Satincombines classic style with modern EDC functionality, offering a slim, lightweight design for everyday use in urban and off-road environments. The design, based on the highly-regarded Elementum line, has been made compliant with multi-jurisdictional regulations through the use of a secure non-locking slip joint mechanism. Blade in drop point profile is made of Sandvik 14C28N steel, which provides high corrosion resistance, good edge stability and ease of sharpening – important features for everyday use of EDC knife. Thanks to the use of a concave grind (hollow grind), the blade smoothly enters the material, providing high precision cutting for both precision work and basic utility tasks. The satin finish emphasizes the Blade’s elegant character, while effectively reducing the visibility of fine micro-scratches. Handle is made of high-quality Blue Resin composite , which gives each piece a unique pattern and unique aesthetics, resembling a natural mineral. 14C28N – martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in a range of knife steels produced by Swedish steel mills Sandvik. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved.
