VK-Kuze Grey Titanium, Satin is the result of a collaboration between the Bestech Knives brand and a designer operating under the pseudonym Vulpex Knives, who has become famous for his precise, geometric designs with high utility value. This folder represents a modern design philosophy – based on clean lines, technical simplicity and refined ergonomics. Its form has been thought out for everyday use, offering exceptional comfort and a subtle industrial aesthetic. At the heart of the knife is a Blade made of MagnaCut steel, a material with an excellent balance between corrosion resistance, edge durability and sharpenability. Thanks to its satin surface finish, the blade not only looks professional, but also effectively masks minor signs of use. The geometry is designed for precision cutting tasks in everyday EDC scenarios. The sandblasted titanium Handle emphasizes the minimalist nature of the design – the lack of ornamentation, straight lines and integrated deep carry clip create a cohesive, clean form. The frame lock ensures stability and security even in more demanding applications. CPM MagnaCut – powder stainless steel manufactured using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy(CPM) process hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM MagnaCut succeeded in creating a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers a remarkable balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. There is no other steel on the world market today that offers a comparable combination of superior properties. This exceptional steel is manufactured at Crucible® Industries’ American steel mills.
Blade – made of MagnaCut powder steel, with drop point profile and full flat grind offers excellent cutting geometry, ideal for precision work in everyday use. The satin finish improves aesthetics and reduces the visibility of minor scratches. A thumb hole allows intuitive one-handed blade unfolding, and a slight choil in the ricasso zone increases control for precision maneuvers. The overall design retains the lightness and functionality expected of EDC-grade tools.
Handle – made of titanium has been sandblasted, which provides adequate grip and wear resistance of the surface.
