Snakebird Black Micarta, Stonewashed / Satin by Bestech Knives, is a proposal for users who expect harmony between form and function. The knife’s slender, dynamic silhouette was inspired by the flight of a bird, which is reflected in the Blade’s distinctive line and the consistent composition of design elements. Precisely selected finishes – stonewashed on the back and satin on the working planes – create a visual effect that emphasizes attention to detail. Blade is made of 14C28N stainless steel, known for its good balance between sharpness retention and ease of sharpening. The sheepsfoot profile provides excellent cutting control, especially where precision and safety are important. Ball bearings and a thumb stud allow the blade to be quickly unfolded, and an intuitive button lock guarantees safety during use. The Micarta composite Handle is set on steel liners, which translates into durability and low weight. Milling, deep carry clip and textured surface make this model comfortable, durable and refined in every detail. Snakebird is an EDC folder that will satisfy both practical users and collectors who appreciate modern design.
14C28N – martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Swedish steel mills Sandvik. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!
Blade – with a sheepsfoot profile is made of 14C28N steel, corrosion-resistant and easy to sharpen. The distinctive cutting line with a rounded belly allows for safe, precise blade guidance without the risk of puncturing the material. The combination of two finishes, satin and stonewashed, provides an attractive appearance and reduces the visibility of scratches. A jimping, which improves control when working under pressure, is placed on the Blade’s back. The blade is unfolded by a thumb stud, and locking is provided by a button lock.
Handle grips -Micarta composite grips are mounted on steel liners, providing strength while keeping the overall design lightweight. The ergonomic shape supports the natural layout of the fingers, and the clear texture of the material allows you to maintain a secure grip even in difficult conditions. On the back there was a milling (jimping) to increase control while working. The whole is completed by a double-sided (right/left) steel deep carry clip.
