Opis
Ink Purple Titanium, Black PVD is a technically advanced EDC folder designed by Italian knifemaker Denis Simonutti, a creator known for minimalist designs and maximum functionality. The form of the model has been reduced to the essence of the action – no unnecessary extras, with an emphasis on quality of detail, comfort of use and durability. The small, balanced silhouette and neutral aesthetics make it a perfect tool for both modern EDC enthusiasts and collectors looking for designs unique in their simplicity. Blade made of CPM MagnaCut steel, considered one of the best new generation knife materials, offers excellent resistance to corrosion, abrasion and loss of sharpness. A black PVD coating was applied , which subtly masks traces of use and emphasizes the utilitarian nature of the design. The blade’s geometry has been optimized for everyday tasks – from cutting cardboard, to precision operations, to minor workshop work. Handle made of anodized titanium provides exceptional lightness and wear resistance. Subtle milling improves ergonomics and gives the design a technical flair, while the deep carry clip allows for discreet carrying. The entire design is complemented by a front flipper opening system and precise fit of details that make this design a model of modern utility engineering. The Bestech Ink is a knife for those who appreciate consistency of form and function in everyday equipment.
Denis Simonutti, born in 1986 in Maniago, is an Italian designer and knifemaker from Friuli. He has been active in the knife industry since 2010 and is known as the inventor of the Fingers Safe Opening System locking system . His passions are mountaineering and photography, which he combines with his design skills to create knives with unique design and functionality. He works with the Fox brand for which he designed the “The Claw” series of Karambit knives, combining oriental style with practical application.
CPM MagnaCut – powder stainless steel produced by the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy(CPM) process hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM MagnaCut succeeded in creating a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers an extraordinary balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. There is no other steel on the world market today that offers a comparable combination of superior properties. This exceptional steel is produced at Crucible® Industries’ U.S. steel mills.
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) – The resistance of the surface of the wedge and cutting edge is enhanced by a vacuum deposition method used to deposit thin films by condensing an evaporated form of the desired material onto the surface of the workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation followed by condensation. The applied coating has a very high hardness which significantly increases the resistance of the blade to rust and abrasive wear.
Blade – with a straight profile was made of CPM MagnaCut steel, characterized by outstanding resistance to abrasion and moisture. The black PVD finish increases the surface resistance to micro-scratching and gives the Blade a matte, tactical character. Opening is done with a front flipper, which allows quick access to the blade without the need for protrusions. The high flat grind improves cutting properties, ensuring precision in working with a variety of materials. Blade stability is guaranteed by a solid pivot axis and Liner Lock.
Handle – made of anodized titanium provides structural rigidity and durability while maintaining very low weight. Smoothly routed lines and CNC milling improve the ergonomics of the grip, and the integrated deep carry clip allows for convenient and discreet carrying. Hidden screws and precise fit of the components emphasize the modern, minimalist character of the model. The interior has been further relieved by internal milling, which reduces the weight of the structure without compromising its rigidity. The overall design has been refined for everyday reliability and elegant aesthetics.
