M390 – martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter’s CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Button Liner Lock – an excellent solution, where a button in the pivot is responsible for tilting the Liner Lock leaf, so you can fold the knife without putting your fingers under the blade track.
Blade – Reverse Tanto type, finished with a fine hand grinding that gives the effect of pearl sheen. The long cutting edge, with a prominent belly, converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the wide blade. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the blade advancement mechanism. A front flipper flipper for quick opening, the knife can also be opened using the hole in the wedge(Thumb Hole) or by gravity, releasing the button in the pivot. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with an intuitive Button Liner Lock.
Handle – thick pieces of heat-dyed Lightning Storm patterned titanium 6AL4V, beautifully milled using CNC machine tools. The titanium backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire construction. The simplicity and solidity of the construction give the assurance of many years of use. Single-position clip (right), made of titanium, allows carrying the knife in tip-up position . The pivot with Button Liner Lock button is decorated with overlays of titanium also stained with Lightning Storm pattern . On the other side, a slider for additional protection against accidental opening or folding of the knife. In the protruding part of the backspacer you will find a place to thread a safety or decorative cord.
