Paradigma Zebra Wood, Satin is a practical everyday folder from BlackFox, combining minimalist styling with high EDC functionality. The slim form of the design and the use of wear-resistant materials make the knife perfect for everyday tasks, offering durability, comfort and modern aesthetics. Blade with drop point profile is made of D2 tool steel, valued for its high wear resistance, working edge durability and stability in intensive use. With a hardness of 59-61 HRC, it can maintain its sharpness for a long time with moderate ease of sharpening in the field. Finished with an elegant satin finish that effectively reduces the visibility of micro-scratches and light reflections. The opening mechanism, based on a milled recess in the nail nick of the blade, allows for a controlled and precise unfolding of the blade while maintaining a slim design line. A stable liner lock ensures safe use and securely locks the blade in the working position. Handle is made of durable G10 composite , resistant to abrasion, moisture and changing environmental conditions. The delicate texture of the surface, combined with ergonomic profiling, guarantees a stable and comfortable grip in all conditions, even during prolonged use. The whole is complemented by a steel tip-up clip for discreet carrying in a pocket. The BF-781 G10 is a well-thought-out EDC tool with modern, technical aesthetics.
D2 high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel is heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high 13.0% chromium (Cr) content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade – with drop point profile provides wide functionality for everyday use – from precision cutting to tasks requiring good motion control. D2 tool steel (59-61 HRC) offers high resistance to wear, abrasion and micro-damage, with reasonable ease of sharpening. It is a proven material in EDC utility segments. The classic nail nick allows for a controlled unfolding of the blade, keeping the opening mechanics minimalist. For the stability of the blade in the working position is responsible for a solid liner lock mechanism , securing the Blade during operation.
Handle – made of Zebrano wood with a beautiful grain pattern. The delicate texture of the surface, together with the profiled shape of the handle, provides a stable and secure grip in all conditions of use – both in dry and wet hands or with gloves. Subtle finger indentations increase comfort and minimize hand fatigue during prolonged use. The design is complemented by a steel tip-up carry clip, allowing for discreet attachment in a pocket.
